About Dmitry
Providing a warm, body-centered approach to change, grounded in movement, awareness, and hands-on work.
My path
My path into this work began far from bodywork. I started out in theoretical and computer physics and spent many years in the tech world. That life engaged the mind, but I also came to know its cost: long hours at a computer, chronic stress, disconnection from the body, and periods of anxiety and depression.
Because of that, I understand what many desk workers and professionals are up against—not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.
My search for a way forward led me into mindfulness meditation, Qigong, Tai Chi, bodywork, Alexander Technique, and eventually the Feldenkrais Method. Along the way, I discovered that meaningful change did not come mainly from pushing harder, but from learning how to work with the nervous system in a gentler, more embodied, and more intelligent way.
My Work
Bodywork became one of the first ways I could share that discovery directly with others. Later, Feldenkrais gave me a deeper framework for understanding how long-standing patterns of tension, effort, and self-limitation can begin to soften and change. I completed a four-year Feldenkrais training and have been a Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner since 2020.
Today, my work brings together Feldenkrais, Trager-influenced bodywork, and hands-on modalities such as Swedish and Deep Tissue. What ties it all together is a warm, attentive, and practical approach to helping people reduce strain, feel more grounded, and discover new possibilities for comfort and function.
I’m deeply grateful that my own search for healing and meaning led me here, and that I now get to share this work with others.

A little more about me
Outside of sessions and teaching classes, I enjoy time outdoors, meditation, playing music and dancing salsa, and also share my home my cat, Moose.
More broadly, I try to bring the same curiosity and embodied presence to life that I bring to my work. What helps me feel more present in my own body naturally informs how I work with clients.
