What to expect

Most lessons are done lying on the floor (and at other times, sitting, standing, or walking), while following verbal instructions. These classes are slow and gentle. No stretching, pushing, or intense exercise is involved. Instead, you'll explore movement with curiosity and discover easier ways of doing things in your life.
Lessons can be adapted to your comfort level. No prior experience is necessary.

Rather than trying to force change, Awareness Through Movement lessons help you notice habits of effort and discover easier ways to move.
